Hi, and 'Under the Dome'

HI!
Derekca here, just started this.
It'll mainly be a blog on movies, books and games, but also possibly football, or anything else that comes to mind.

A Book review: Under the Dome by Stephen King

This is actually the first Stephen King book I've read, just picked it up because it was cheap and I liked the concept.   It plays out basically like a screenplay, from several different perspectives.   The reader can be anywhere from inside someone's thoughts to floating through a town with the narrator.
The book turns out to be a fas-paced and lively, bloody and entertaining look at small-town life in America, amplified by the pressure of a dome, which does not let anyone in or out.   This brings out the best and worst of the characters, and King manages to introduce around a hundred characters by the end, killing most of them in the process too!
Rating: 4/5
If anyone has any thoughts on this, or any recommendations for more King books, I'd love to hear it.   Thanks and talk to you soon!
